Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee was founded in 1964 by Church Women United to provide a safe environment for the children of families who work in the field.  The center has provided childcare for over 57 years and strives to provide exceptional education by implementing a curriculum of Teaching Strategies GOLD tailored to each individual student. It’s part of Pathways’ mission to ensure that some of the community’s most vulnerable children, many of whom have received no prior education, graduate from our VPK program ready to succeed in kindergarten. We guarantee that every child has the tools to learn by providing a hot breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Additional wraparound services – such as medical assessments, mental health services, food, and resources from additional community partners are provided to address the needs of the whole child.

Within the past year, the Coronavirus has had detrimental effects on millions across the nation shifting the lives of many including the Immokalee community.  The families we serve faced even more intense financial hardships as more than half of Immokalee’s population live below the nation's poverty level. It’s critical that we provide the various resources that a child needs to reach all developmental milestones by the age of five.
